There is a commercial for a belt that works and abdominal muscles and tighten your stomach. It's called the Slendertone. Is supposed to be better than other bands out there and is the only FDA-approved. Has anyone used and it works?

Has anyone ever tried …..?
Has anyone every tried those Slendertone shorts for bum and thighs ???? If so, what did you think ?? Do they work ?
Not the shorts that pull you in…it’s toning shorts that send small electrical currents to your muscles.
They cost around one hundred pouns so i’m not going to fork out that unless i knew they worked.
No they don’t work to the point that I presume you would want. The electrical current training is used a lot by physios and the like to help people with little muscle function build up to a point where they can exercise completely. Companies like slender tone have jumped on this to play on our weaknesses. I mean who wouldn’t want firm buttocks by doing no work at all. It certainly sounds better than putting in all the hard work. But it just doesn’t work the muscles effectively enough. If you have really weak bum and thigh muscles then it may help a little but that is it.
I am afraid it is the hard work that gets the best results and you would be wasting your money.

Can you get the electronic stability control installed on a used car?
I bought my car there 2 years w / o ESC. I had a Toyota Corolla with ABS and side airbags. The other day I was driving on the highway and the person driving a car in the left lane next to me tried to get in my way. He touched me and swerved to the right (but I stayed in my lane) to avoid an accident. He came to the attention, but then my car kept moving from side to side for about 3 seconds. It was a little scared and now I'm regretting not having ESC. Is it too late to have an ESC installed? Could I have helped in this situation (I was driving 70 mph).
I think the ESC would have helped. To put in after the car is built is very expensive, and you can be a problem getting anyone question. I also think maybe you need new shock absorbers and / or bracing. If the car has continued to rebound the left and right after corrected (unless more correct), then maybe you need new shock absorbers and / or bracing.
